Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Courier Float PT to join our team at Sonic Healthcare. As a Courier Float PT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of medical specimens between laboratories and healthcare provider locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport medical specimens between laboratories and healthcare provider locations, adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols.
  • Operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, navigating various weather and traffic conditions.
  • Interact with clients and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control, adhering to all applicable regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
  • Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
  • Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
