Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and develop business cases to address problems and opportunities
  • Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions
  • Work with vendors to seek clarification and acceptance of solutions
  • Work with users to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solutions
  • Perform business analysis functions such as:
    • Identify stakeholders, techniques, and processes to manage, track, and trace requirements
    • Refine and clarify business needs, define solution scope, and develop business cases
    • Assess current state, analyze stated requirements of stakeholders, and elaborate to sufficient detail to accurately define business needs within specified scope
    • Source and evaluate alternatives to identify solutions that best fit business needs, identify gaps, and determine workarounds/changes to the solution
    • Assess deployed solutions to see how well they met the original need
    • Manage conflicts, issues, and changes to ensure stakeholders and project teams remain in agreement on solution scope, communicate, and manage expectations of stakeholders
  • Assess business needs for service requests and the impact of enhancements to the system
  • Assess problem resolution approach and implement effective service recovery of ICT incidents and establish systems and processes to prevent recurrence of the same incident
  • Understand IT management policy, quality management policy, and security guidelines to ensure development processes, procedures, and systems are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in at least one full project development life cycle in PEGA
  • Advantageous to have:
    • Consulting or Business Analysis experience
    • Prior knowledge in system solutioning, development for mid and large-scale IT development projects
    • BPR and BPMN knowledge. Some experience in business process mapping and defining requirement specifications
    • Knowledge of Webservice, REST API, sFTP, and security concepts in security interfaces between systems
  • Extensive experience in interpersonal communication, requirement/workshop facilitations, and documentation of user requirements into Agile user stories, acceptance criteria
  • Extensive experience in defining UAT test scenarios and facilitating SIT and UAT tests. Ability to define data structure (ERD diagram), system interface specifications
  • Good experience in data and database table design, data migration experience, and skills in assessing and facilitating data migration and conversion
  • Team player with strong organization and people handling skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders
