Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Leidos. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing complex equipment and systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
  • Conduct on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective action.
  • Perform ad-hoc and predetermined work assignments with instructions.
  • Follow all established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, requiring the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice.
  • Manage resources, maintain schedules, and coordinate all repair activities in priority sequence to ensure adherence to contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work in a customer environment with systems operated in a 24/7 environment, requiring immediate response times.
Requirements
  • Related trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or military training (electrical, mechanical, electronics).
  • Computer literacy and competency in the use of all programs within the MS Office Suite.
  • Aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.
  • Ability to pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask several projects at once.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable individual.
  • Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs, push/pull 200 lbs, and move/manipulate equipment weighing up to 1000 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety precautions in extreme environments.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000. Leidos offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
