Commercial Sales Representative

At Snider Fleet Solutions, we're seeking a highly motivated Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a personal sales plan to retain and acquire new commercial tire account business. Your primary goal will be to maximize client satisfaction and profitability using our Integrity Selling System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify potential new customers for Snider Fleet Solutions
- Schedule appointments to determine customer needs
- Identify customer needs and business goals
- Design and develop a program (proposal) that meets the customer's needs and present the proposal to the customer
- Utilize Snider Fleet Solutions Customer Relations Management Software (CRM) to manage daily sales activity
- Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers
- Frequent local travel from customer sites to establish and further build relationships
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers
- Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations using the 'marketing approach to selling'
- Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, sitting, and squatting
- Implement marketing programs to solicit new clients through cold calls, campaigns, organizations, and referrals
- Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate appointments with the service department
- Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits
- Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and handle customer casings appropriately
- Deliver tires to customers as needed
- Manage proper inventory stocking levels using the tools provided by Snider Fleet Solutions
- Execute client delivery schedules, proper loading and unloading, and obtain signed paperwork from the customer
- Manage client account analysis, preparation, and communication of client proposals/quotes, additional reporting requirements, and/or special client projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years' outside sales experience
- Proven track record of new account development
- Clear understanding of the sales cycle/process
- Proven negotiating and sales closing skills
- Ability to analyze customer programs to maximize profitability and customer service experience
- Capable of learning and utilizing various software and tools
- Demonstrated leadership skills in previous roles
- Valid Class C Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Sales Cycle Certification (Integrity Selling preferred)
- DOT Medical Certification, obtained during hiring
