Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our team at Huggins Hospital. As a key member of our acute care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of a registered nurse, including activities of daily living, hygiene, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Assist with patient care activities, such as vital signs, height, weight, intake, and output, and report any changes out of range of normal.
  • Obtain laboratory specimens as appropriate and transport to lab as necessary.
  • Within scope of practice, assist nurse/physician with clinical procedures and treatments.
  • Carry out roles assigned as part of the healthcare team during emergencies or resuscitation efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a nursing assistant program.
  • 1 year experience as an LNA preferred, experience in a hospital acute care setting preferred.
  • Computer literate, experience with electronic health records preferred.
  • New Hampshire LNA license and BLS Certification required.
