Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our Emergency Department team at Huggins Hospital. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care, including vital sign monitoring, laboratory specimen collection, and documentation of patient information.
  • Assist with patient care activities, such as dressing changes, casting, and splinting, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Participate in departmental continuous survey readiness activities and adhere to Infection Prevention standards.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure timely turnover of exam rooms and restocking of supplies.
  • Perform safe transportation of patients within the facility, utilizing safe lifting and transport adjunct equipment and good body mechanics.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a nursing assistant program.
  • 1 year experience as an LNA preferred, experience in Emergency Department also preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Active New Hampshire LNA license.
