We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Palliative Oncology Faculty Position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of palliative care services and education at the University of Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities- Teach palliative care fellows who rotate through the palliative and supportive oncology clinic
- Develop and pilot embedded palliative and supportive oncology clinics at the Abramson Cancer Center sites
- Provide ambulatory palliative care consultation for cancer patients in close partnership with each patient's oncology team
- Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving end-of-life outcomes for cancer patients throughout Penn Medicine
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certified or eligible in hospice and palliative medicine
- Strong background and interest in education and palliative care
- Ability to provide management and/or leadership
