Job Title: Valet Parking Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Valet Parking Supervisor to join our team at Parking Management Services. As a Valet Parking Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of valets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient parking operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct the parking operation and staff
  • Handle guest-related concerns, questions, claims, and service issues
  • Ensure associates follow proper attendance and timekeeping procedures
  • Conduct required staff meetings and communicate pertinent daily information
  • Maintain a work-friendly atmosphere and a team environment
  • Communicate effectively with associates, guests, and managers
  • Conduct proper tip handling and reporting
  • Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues proactively, and exceed expectations
  • Supervise valet team to ensure proper key handling and safe, efficient parking/retrieval of vehicles
  • Follow proper procedures for associate or guest incidents/accidents
  • Maintain a safe environment for associates and guests

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions and may stand for up to 8 hours at a time. Physical demands include running to and from vehicles and parking areas multiple times during a shift, running 200 yards, up to 75 times during a shift, and quickly getting in and out of various types and sizes of vehicles.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Customer service experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks
  • Ability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50 pounds
  • Leadership skills and ability to lead a team
  • Ability to drive a standard (stick-shift) vehicle
