Position Overview:
This role is integral to the Reporting and Analytics team, focusing on developing monitoring and alerting functionalities to ensure system capacity and stability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and enhance monitoring capabilities for system performance.
  • Establish new metrics for comprehensive team analysis.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify necessary monitoring events, acceptable performance benchmarks, and alert conditions.
  • Analyze data to create alerts aligned with business needs, presenting findings through visual narratives using graphs, charts, and trendlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Elasticsearch (certification is advantageous).
  • Experience with Kibana, especially its alerting features.
  • Strong skills in data visualization and narrative development.
  • Familiarity with Vega and/or Vega-Lite for crafting custom visualizations.
  • Ability to implement webhooks for integration with platforms like Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, or Opsgenie.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficient in using Jira and Confluence.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders and executives.
  • Background in software development and integration environments.
  • Elastic Certifications are a plus, including Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Observability Engineer, and others.
  • Knowledge of Observability concepts.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with a preference for candidates who can work on-site in a hybrid model.
