Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse at Inspira Health Network, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify care needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
  • Enrolled in a CCNE or NLNAC accredited BSN or MSN program within six months of hire.
  • One-year clinical experience required; two years ED experience preferred for per diem positions.
  • Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing and American Heart Association BLS required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

  • American Heart Association PALS required within 6 months of hire.
  • CPI initial for new hires to be completed within the introductory period, and renewal every 18 months.
  • Cardiac dysrhythmia required within 6 months of hire.
  • Critical Care Course within 1 year (or 2 years CC experience or current CEN).
  • Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Courses taught by the Emergency Nurses Association within 12 months of initial assignment or followed by a minimum of 8 contact hours of education every two (2) years in trauma assessment, intervention, and stabilization.
  • National Certification in specialty area preferred.
