Position Overview:

The e-commerce sector has experienced remarkable expansion recently, becoming a competitive arena among leading tech firms. TikTok is poised to redefine the e-commerce experience for its vast user base.

We seek dedicated and skilled individuals to enhance our finance team, aiming to establish a cutting-edge e-commerce ecosystem that is both secure and user-friendly.

Team Overview:
The Finance BP and Business FP&A team operates within the Finance department, focusing on enhancing management efficiency, driving key revenue initiatives, mitigating financial risks, and reinforcing budget oversight through comprehensive business analysis and reporting.

This role will provide support to the E-Commerce division (TikTok Shop) during its initial launch and growth phases in the US.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Analytics and Support:
Conduct in-depth analyses to optimize revenue, enhance expense management, and improve overall profitability. Formulate actionable recommendations and present findings to leadership.

Management Reporting:

Engage in monthly closing processes for management reporting, organize operational data to inform business decisions, and prepare detailed financial statements while explaining variances between budgeted and actual figures.


Forecasting and Projections:
Collaborate with Finance leadership to develop financial forecasts and projections that align with core business principles.

Financial Operations Management:

Design and oversee systems that support the financial operations of TikTok Shop, working closely with teams across operations, product, sales, marketing, and accounting.


Procurement and Contract Review:
Evaluate procurement applications and financial terms in contracts to ensure effective capital allocation.

Maintain master data and budget systems: Regularly update budget accounts, cost centers, and other financial master data, ensuring timely updates in collaboration with the IT department.

Foster cooperation with other finance and business teams, including general ledger, accounts payable, and taxation.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or FP&A within a technology-focused organization.

Essential Skills:
Excellent communication abilities, strong analytical thinking, collaborative spirit, self-driven, critical thinking, adaptable, and resilient.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial assessment; advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required. Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary for this position is $150,000.

Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

In addition to base pay, this role may qualify for discretionary bonuses and stock options.
