Overview:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Campus Recreation Generalist Intern. This position is ideal for a student who possesses strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and excellent organizational capabilities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of various programs and events.
- Address and communicate any facility-related concerns.
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create engaging social media content.
- Work alongside facilities and operations personnel on diverse tasks.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled in at least six credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification is advantageous.
- Preference will be given to upperclassmen.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Work Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
