Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and purchase materials, supplies, and equipment in a cost-effective manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and forecast future needs.
- Prioritize purchase requests to ensure timely delivery of essential products.
- May be responsible for patient charge capture for dispensed medical supplies.
Technical Capabilities:
- Data Entry: Transcribe information from the original source into an electronic system efficiently and accurately.
- Cost Allocation: Analyze and record costs to the appropriate accounts.
- Purchasing: Understand the concepts behind supplier relations and supply chain management.
- Inventory Management: Monitor material movement, reconcile inventory balances, and maintain adequate inventory levels.
