Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to operate MRI scanners and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and peers
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary
  • Assist with training of new associates and provide technical expertise
