Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective Career and Technical instruction in the assigned trade area
  • Assist students to complete the required competencies for that trade area
  • Demonstrate effective classroom or lab management
  • Ensure that the lab is operated in compliance with all aspects of safety management
  • Maintain accurate and current student records

Requirements

  • Four years degree in Business/Information Technology (OR) High School Diploma with equivalent experience
  • Must be eligible for a Collegiate license from the department of Education with an endorsement in business/information technology area
  • MS Office Specialist Certification is required for those who don't have a four year's degree in Business Administration
  • Must also be eligible for a teaching certificate from the Department of Education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree with a major or minor in a relevant educational field
  • Five years' experience in the related trade/field will be preferred
  • Knowledge of all phases of the trade area

Additional Considerations

  • Licensure: In addition to having a Business Management/IT degree, must have a Collegiate license from the department of Education with an endorsement in business/information technology area
  • Those with a High School Diploma and equivalent experience, must have a teaching certificate from the Department of Education
