Job Summary:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Virtual SLP, you will work from the comfort of your own home, utilizing our innovative teletherapy platform to provide exceptional therapy services to students in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized tests, observations, and informal assessments to identify students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Manage a caseload of students with communication disorders, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education personnel, and other school staff to support students' communication needs within the classroom.
- Stay current with research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Georgia
- Active Georgia Teaching Certificate (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting
- Experience providing virtual therapy services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet access
