Urogynecologist - Open Rank Position

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reproductive Surgery (FPMRS) to enhance our team of three experienced FPMRS physicians, along with several advanced practice nurses and pelvic floor therapists. Our established clinic, known as the WISH clinic (Womens Incontinence and Sexual Health), is well-regarded in the community.

The selected candidate will be responsible for both inpatient and outpatient management of patients experiencing pelvic floor disorders. Collaboration with residents is essential, and a strong partnership with urologists, gastroenterologists, and colorectal surgeons is already in place. Access to a wide range of subspecialists for consultation is readily available. Opportunities for research are present, and there may be a requirement for outreach clinic duties in the future.

Some involvement in gynecological services will be necessary, including potential gynecologic backup (home) call for residency several times a year. Currently, there is no mandatory home or in-house call, although home Urogyn call may be introduced later. This role is primarily focused on clinical responsibilities, supplemented by educational duties for residents and medical students, as well as research activities.
