About Our Hospital

Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture between Lifepoint Health and Ascension Seton, offering comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs. Our hospital provides ongoing care and specialized treatment for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient care considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient's age; includes geriatric and general inpatient rehabilitation patients.
  • Assist with assessments on all patients and reassessments as per policy. Identify and initiate appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
  • Carry out the plan of care as indicated by the patient's needs and response to treatment; update interdisciplinary care plan accordingly based on changes in patient's condition and individual needs.
  • Interact professionally with patient/family and involve patient/family in the formation of the plan of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program.
  • Minimum six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
