About the Job:

This role involves working as a Registered Nurse in our Float Pool MedSurg department, where you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing and evaluating treatment strategies. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective delivery of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and revise plans of care based on patient responses to treatment
  • Consult and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs and goals
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to non-licensed staff
  • Provide pre- and post-operative patient care
  • Offer education materials to patients and families on care and treatments
  • Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. You must also obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 months, Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, and NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of employment start date.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on location and experience. We strive to provide competitive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees.
