Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Officer to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, supporting the Dean's office and contributing to the success of our institution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Dean, managing complex projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Dean, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
  • Manage complex projects, including event planning, budgeting, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the Dean's office, including supervision of staff and student assistants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, alumni, and community leaders.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a senior administrative role, preferably in higher education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of project management, with experience in event planning, budgeting, and coordination.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 + depending on qualifications.
