Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the floral department, by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
- Assist with various tasks, such as filling and rotating cases, arranging plants and floral displays, and inflating balloons.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of floral arrangements, corsages, and balloons.
- Experience with visual merchandising and store displays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This position requires frequent exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces. The employee may be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
