Food Service Director

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Director to lead our team at Bradford Regional Medical Center in Bradford, PA. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning, administering, and directing all unit activities related to food service, ensuring compliance with Aramark Healthcare+ and regulatory agency standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional operational performance by executing against Aramark Healthcare+ and regulatory agency standards, monitoring operations, and completing assessments and action plans to provide optimal food quality and meal service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate and supervise unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality, and cost control, labor management, and employee training.
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain front-line team members.
- Interact with Client Management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization.
- Provide overall direction and manage performance for all Food Service Managers, Supervisors, and front-line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement, and compliance with human resource policies and standards.
- Direct, staff, and train food service department regarding food presentation, quality, cost control, and cash handling.
- Develop operational component forecasts and explain variances, responsible for components accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with all contract obligations.
- At least 5 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Healthcare experience preferred; experience in a long-term care facility would be a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model.
