We are seeking a highly skilled Project Financial Analyst to join our team at GeoStabilization International. As a Project Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our project managers and teams by managing all costs, client billings, reviewing contractual values, generating reports, and supporting the overall financial health of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate contract, project, and budget data within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and ensure compliance with auditable files.
- Manage costs related to labor, materials, expenses, and subcontracts, and perform direct project-related cost adjustments within the ERP system as approved.
- Prepare, post, and deliver client billings and invoice packages on schedule, and review project financial reports for cost accuracy and reasonableness.
- Conduct weekly reviews and monitoring of potential issues and cash receipt postings, and ensure procedures and best practices are adhered to throughout the project accounting process.
- Assess and manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports, supporting project forecasting and project changes, and perform project and contract closeout procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to project teams and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of cost accounting experience.
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills, including experience with formulas and pivot tables.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to reside near our corporate location in Westminster/Broomfield, Colorado.
- Competitive base salary: $65,600 to $87,000 per year.
- Total Rewards package, including competitive Variable Compensation, Employee Ownership position, Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, STD and LTD, 401(k) (100% match up to 4%), and a vacation plan with wide boundaries.
