Position Overview:

Civil Technology, Inc. is a part of a significant, multi-year construction upgrade project within a large commercial building in Denver, Colorado. We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our Program Management Team (PMT) and support the contract completion.


Responsibilities:

  • Review CM/GC subcontract pricing and provide recommendations throughout the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) process.
  • Review and validate CM/GC change requests.
  • Develop independent cost estimates as needed.
  • Maintain organized and detailed files, project records, and logs.
  • Attend project meetings as required.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of estimating experience.
  • Experience in bid evaluation and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience in vertical construction.
  • Experience in operational facilities.
  • Experience with occupied renovation projects.
