Job Title: Recruitment and Benefits Specialist

Bryan County is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Recruitment and Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role involves providing comprehensive support for the recruitment and onboarding process, as well as managing benefits programs.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources administration and be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. They will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date job descriptions
  • Developing and posting job vacancy notices
  • Screening applications, comparing candidates to vacancies, and forwarding applications to hiring managers
  • Facilitating applicants with employment status and providing information regarding available positions
  • Supporting departments regarding recruitment and selection processes
  • Performing background checks, MVRs, and scheduling drug screenings
  • Orienting new employees, ensuring all required paperwork is completed, and assisting with tax, insurance, and retirement forms
  • Creating new hire employee files and inputting employee data into ADP

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field
  • Two to three years of progressively responsible related experience in human or health services
  • Strong promotional/marketing skills or experience with health and safety standards
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, data entry, and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • A valid Georgia driver license and a satisfactory MVR
