Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team at Didlake, Inc. As a Custodial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break room, library, kitchenette, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  • Sweep floors using brooms, and mop.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
  • Dust furniture and equipment.
  • Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
  • Wash door panels and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets.
  • Transports trash to the disposal area and recycle it to designated areas.
  • Replenishes restroom supplies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED or 6 months of previous custodial work experience.
  • Ability to carry out simple but detailed instructions.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers.
  • Must possess a positive team member attitude.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees with disabilities.
  • Ability to work in environments with narrow, moving, and/or slippery surfaces.
