Mesaviewhospital is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Materials Management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of supplies and equipment to meet the needs of our hospital.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking inventory levels, costs, and supply needs.
  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring that goods and services are received in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible prices and services.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and departments to understand their supply needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Four years of experience in ordering, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment; two years of purchasing agent or buyer experience preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all hospital staff and physicians; high level of customer service required.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with little assistance and/or supervision.
