Position Summary
NBC Universal Media, LLC is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to join our dedicated Facilities team. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities, providing top-notch services to both clients and guests. The Facilities Operations Manager will work closely with senior management to uphold our high standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the comprehensive management of facilities, ensuring optimal support for production and administrative functions.
- Maintain operational integrity of critical infrastructure systems, striving for exceptional reliability in a 24/7 environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facilities, implementing long-term strategic planning for capital projects.
- Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with local and state regulations regarding emergency systems.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate facility maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and requests from staff and clients.
- Collaborate with management to assess budgets and evaluate proposals from external vendors.
- Work alongside engineering teams to coordinate maintenance and project work that may impact production.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and building systems.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
