Role Overview
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) operates autonomously while employing the nursing process and is accountable for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating nursing responsibilities across various age groups. The RN collaborates with patients, their families, Physicians/Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), healthcare staff, leadership, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Employs the nursing process as a structured problem-solving method to ensure optimal functioning and health for patients.
- Independently assesses patients in person, via telephone, and through secure messaging, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Utilizes critical thinking in making informed decisions regarding patient care, integrating relevant standards, resources, and data.
- Applies assessment and analytical skills in administering medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs.
- Delegates specific patient care tasks to others based on their education, credentials, and demonstrated competencies.
- Collaborates with the clinic team to enhance overall quality of care, patient experience, and resource management.
- Encourages a learning atmosphere for patients, families, and all healthcare team members.
- Advocates for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or to be obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement.
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification may be required post-hire, depending on assigned clinic site.
- Two years of experience as a RN - in a clinic setting preferred.
- Candidates with less than two years' experience may be considered for Transition to Practice Program.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. As mandated by various pay transparency laws, we provide a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $57.92 USD. However, compensation is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certifications and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale corresponding to the applicant's years of experience.
