Position Summary:

Delivers direct nursing care in environments where patients require intricate assessments and interventions, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

  • Prioritize and expedite care for healthcare consumers requiring immediate attention, utilizing age-appropriate and culturally sensitive practices.

  • Implement, coordinate, and educate to foster health and a secure practice environment.

  • Apply evidence-based practices and scientific knowledge in healthcare to Emergency Nursing, ensuring care aligns with patients' age-specific and clinical needs.

Educational Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background for licensure.

Experience:

No prior experience necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent oral communication to convey information.
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Regular lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry.
