Job Summary

PruittHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical plant and equipment are in safe operating condition, while also managing a team of maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, including equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including documentation and audits.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with consultants and other departments to ensure timely responses to requests for information and suggestions to improve quality of maintenance services.
  • Staff Development: Hire and retain qualified, competent maintenance staff to provide services that achieve a hazard-free, sanitary, comfortable, homelike environment for residents, facility staff, and others.
  • Survey Preparation: Participate in the development of the department budget and provide relevant financial information to the Nursing Home Administrator regarding department financial needs and status.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: One (1) year experience in physical plant operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Skills: Basic working knowledge of a computer (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite).
