Job Overview:

The Artisan Pastry Specialist is responsible for overseeing the baking operations and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen. The primary goal is to achieve customer satisfaction through the quality of our baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and breads, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Manage oven operations, including monitoring dough conditions.
• Gather and measure ingredients for production.
• Shape and scale all types of dough for baking.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace.
• Implement production methods and organize the baking process efficiently.
• Receive and store ingredients properly, ensuring inventory is well-organized.
• Report any equipment malfunctions and manage supply levels.
• Complete production reports and maintain records of usage and waste.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Preferred background in Confectionery or Culinary Arts.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a baking environment.
• Food Handlers Certificate is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of food production processes and safety standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and nutrition.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish or Korean are advantageous but not required.
