About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SoC DFT DV Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our hardware engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and verifying complex digital circuits, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze architecture and design specifications to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement verification plans, including directed and random verification, coverage analysis, and assertions.
  • Collaborate with designers to verify DFT implementation and run various checks.
  • Implement test benches, generate advised/constrained random tests, and debug failures.
  • Support multi-functional engineering efforts, handle schedules, and assist in verification flows, automation scripts, and regressions.
  • Work with test engineers to bring up test patterns on silicon.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in large processors and/or SOC designs.
  • Hands-on experience in directed or random verification, coverage analysis, and assertions.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and a desire to seek new challenges.
  • Good knowledge of general logic design, and exposure to DFT is a plus.
