Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Empower, a visionary healthcare company committed to providing quality, affordable medication to millions of patients across the nation.

Empower is a leading 503A compounding pharmacy and FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facility in the country, serving the functional medicine markets. Our team collaborates to break new ground in manufacturing, distribution, and quality control, offering a uniquely integrated approach to healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist operations in executing tasks related to manufacturing, including scheduling, planning, product development, quality control, and compliance with USP 797 and cGMP standards.
  • Analyze gaps using spreadsheets and analytics software to identify areas for improvement.
  • Track manufacturing performance and investigate deviations and Corrective Actions/Preventative Actions with quality and engineering teams.
  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reliability, and process robustness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in life science or engineering preferred.
  • 3 years prior experience in cleanroom manufacturing or sterile compounding.
  • Pharmacy Technician trainee or certification required; IV Certification highly preferred.
  • Candidates must have strong cGMP, aseptic processing, and USP 797/800 background.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and qualifications, estimated salary range considering location (East Windsor, NJ), industry standards, and job requirements.
