Job Description:

In the role of Dosing Laboratory Associate - Quality Assurance at Specialty Printing LLC, you will be responsible for operating various equipment in a laboratory environment. Your primary objective is to produce high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and ISO guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate dosing laboratory equipment according to work instructions and quality standards.
  • Gather materials required to complete jobs, obtain work orders from customer service schedules, and ensure all necessary equipment and safety devices are operational.
  • Maintain clean machines and work environments, notify maintenance of any necessary significant equipment adjustments or repairs, and perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, quality department, warehouse personnel, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent; relevant work experience may be substituted for formal education.
  • Experience in a laboratory manufacturing environment working with equipment having moving parts and requiring setup skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, job instructions, tickets, labels, charts, and other work-related materials in English.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments, operation of moving equipment, and small tool adjustments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including basic data entry into computer systems.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds, push paper rolls weighing up to 500 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality assurance aptitude, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
