Automotive Finisher and Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Finisher and Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Yach's Body & Custom, Inc.
This role involves overseeing the paint department, ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in automotive painting, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
About the Role- Lead the paint department to deliver exceptional results, adhering to industry standards and company expectations.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure consistency and precision in vehicle finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to set goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the paint department.
- Work closely with painters and preppers to achieve timely completion of vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for paint operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies through continuous training and certification.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive painting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Absorbency to learn new techniques and adapt to changing situations.
The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
