MRI Technologist Specialist

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
- Screen patients and staff entering zone 3 and 4 to ensure magnet safety.
- Perform procedures proficiently, maintaining high-quality images and adhering to scanning protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff, obtaining necessary clinical history and ensuring magnet safety.
- Prepare scan rooms, discarding sharps, and maintaining supplies and linen.
- Administer contrast materials as prescribed by a physician or in approved Radiology protocol.
- Implement emergency procedures as needed and perform quality control tasks to ensure standards are met.
- Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students, and coordinate daily workflow.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI, or AART registered in MRI, or ARMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification.
- BLS certification.
Work Environment:
Evening shifts at the Oconee Medical Campus, with opportunities to share your talent and contribute to the transformation of healthcare.
