Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience as a Submarine Officer or Engineering Duty Officer.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing submarine programs.
  • Familiarity with current submarine acquisition programs and challenges, including construction, defense industrial base efforts, AUKUS, stakeholders, and policies.
  • Understanding of DoD appropriations and the PPBE process.
  • Ability to engage key client stakeholders to identify needs and discuss organizational capabilities and services.
  • Experience working as part of an integrated account and opportunity capture team in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
  • Skill in analyzing market demands and identifying viable business development opportunities by aligning corporate capabilities with client needs.
  • Proficiency in managing contracts, including monitoring costs, schedules, and performance across multiple projects while regularly interacting with technical and programmatic leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with OPNAV on programs, policies, and budgets.
  • Background in submarine construction, operations, maintenance, and depot-level processes.
  • Familiarity with SUPSHIP.
  • Knowledge of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) issues and challenges.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this role and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
