Marine Engineer Specialist

As a Marine Engineer Specialist at American Systems Corporation, you will work within the Maritime Lifecycle Readiness Division to provide engineering support to the United States Coast Guard Headquarters. You will assist with Senior Mechanical Engineers in design, development, and evaluation of auxiliary systems. Your responsibilities will include reviewing third-party design modifications and improvements to mechanical systems and components, performing design reviews, evaluating constructability, helping resolve technical issues, and managing information generated through the design and construction phases. You will also conduct marine engineering analysis as they relate to vessels, create graphical representations of structures and systems, inspect equipment or systems, and research advanced engineering designs or applications.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Experience with Microsoft office suite and Auto-CAD is also preferred.
