Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Lynnwood, WA clinic. The successful candidate will assist with prepping charts for daily appointments, manage patient schedules, maintain a clean and organized environment, and communicate effectively with clinicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs, weight, height, and medical history review
  • Maintain supplies, clean rooms and equipment, and stock rooms with required supplies
  • Operate and maintain autoclave machine in accordance with policy and procedures
  • Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the supervising practitioner
  • Maintain lab supplies, equipment, and record keeping
  • Assist with managing clinic and clinician schedules to maximize efficiency
  • Facilitate daily huddle review of visit schedule for patients requiring assistance
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules
Requirements
  • Associate's degree and 3 years' experience or 5 years' medical assisting experience in a clinic setting
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certified or Medical Assistant Interim certification
  • Clinical competencies to perform the duties of a Certified Medical Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care required at time of hire
  • Excellent phone communication and ability to gather history and current conditions from patients
  • Skilled in operating computer in a Windows environment utilizing Outlook, Work, and Excel
