Job Title: Registered Nurse Educator

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Educator to join our team at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Educator will collaborate with facility/market nursing leadership and staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel as indicated or requested.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, continuing education, and in-services.
  • Collaborate with facility/market nursing leadership and staff to assess educational needs and develop programs to meet those needs.
  • Provide consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Deliver and coordinate educational programs, including Grand Rounds, in-services, continuing education, job-specific, and specialty curricula.
  • Provide leadership to preceptors and serve as a role model through educational programs and ongoing coaching and mentoring.
  • Participate in continuing education provider unit learning and evaluate nursing education activities that qualify for continuing education credit.
  • Assist in the development of clinical policies and procedures as requested.
  • Provide guidance, resources, and knowledge for professional growth of others.
  • Participate in quality performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in area of specialization.
  • Experience in the teaching and learning process.
  • Registered nurse licensed to practice in Commonwealth of MA.
  • BLS, ACLS.
  • Certification in clinical specialty required.
