Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine dining, a strong background in kitchen management, and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability
  • Ensure that all food orders are placed on time and correctly
  • Train and coach kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and service
  • Respond to positive and negative guest feedback and make recommendations for improvement
  • Run the kitchen during dinner service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Uphold the employee handbook and company policies
  • Write and post the kitchen schedule at least two weeks in advance
  • Coach and grow the kitchen team
  • Attend weekly manager meetings to discuss restaurant performance and goals
  • Track food cost using Microsoft Excel and review all food invoices prior to submitting to the office
  • Be an ambassador for the General Harvest brand
Bonus Structure

We offer a competitive bonus structure based on profit percentage:

  • 8% profit: $500 bonus
  • 10% profit: $750 bonus
  • 18% profit: $1000 bonus
