We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Key Responsibilities- Manage direct and indirect subordinates in the facility, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Interview, hire, and train employees, as well as plan, assign, and direct work to meet production and quality standards.
- Appraise employee performance, reward and discipline as necessary, and address complaints and resolve problems.
- Have overall P&L responsibility for the branch location, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Implement cost-effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, workforce, wages, and labor use.
- Direct and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards through branch leadership team.
- Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses.
- Direct the maintenance of existing plant facilities and equipment, replacing or adjusting as necessary.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives.
- Provide direction, development, and leadership to plant manager, sales manager, and other leadership positions.
- Direct the appropriate safety conditions to ensure full OSHA compliance and reduce work-related injury to employees.
- Communicate regularly with senior management and support functions.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, plus 10 years of general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must understand financial statements and be skilled in making business decisions based on financial data.
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures, including Lean manufacturing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce to meet aggressive financial and cultural expectations.
- Excellent follow-through and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of general manufacturing software, ERP software, and core Microsoft office suite software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel knowledge preferred.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and employee development skills.
- Results-proven experience with plant recovery processes and continuous improvement processes.
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish & English).
