We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to play a crucial role in our organization, contributing to our overarching mission. The Accounting Manager will oversee all financial and accounting functions within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations: Oversee all accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, payroll, benefits, commissions, travel expense reporting, and the preparation of timely monthly financial statements. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Tax Compliance: Collaborate with CPA firms on all aspects of tax filing and reporting, coordinate the payment of quarterly estimated taxes, and assist in tax audits.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyze and report on variances, manage expenses in line with the annual budget, and oversee banking relationships.
  • Process Development: Create and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance and maintain internal controls.
  • Data Management: Analyze financial and business data to support the company’s growth initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations Manager and sales teams to meet business objectives.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the CFO, with a dotted line to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a controller role, preferably within medium-sized companies or large accounting firms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in advanced computer applications, including QuickBooks, MS Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
