Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Space Systems Engineer to lead our team of dedicated professionals in the development of advanced space defense systems. As a key member of our Space and Intelligence Division, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to ensure the successful execution of complex national security projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop enterprise, system, and function-level requirements
  • Develop and implement Information Assurance needs
  • Understand and implement system schedules, system and enterprise resiliency, and risks
  • Support test and verification strategy and system integration of new initiatives
  • Lead a team of approximately 8 employees and assign and review tasks
Requirements
  • 12-15 years of experience with a BS, or 10-13 years with an MS, or 7-9 years with a PhD
  • Significant technical experience performing systems engineering functions for national technical means systems
  • Knowledge of space/ground/comm systems and sensor vulnerabilities
  • Experience with large acquisition systems engineering efforts, methods, and processes
  • Understanding of the System Engineering “V” and agile acquisition processes
  • Demonstrated technical leadership of integrated engineering teams
  • Active TS/SCI with CI poly at time of application
Desired Qualifications
  • Awareness of mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment
  • Experience with MBSE, SysML applications, digital tools, Confluence, and Jira
  • Experience with requirements closure, threat scenarios and analysis, and VV&T strategies that align to an agile development approach
