Job Summary

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is a key role within our distribution center, responsible for supporting the flow and optimization of our operations. This position will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, monitoring productivity and other metrics throughout the day. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading safety and operational tasks, as well as supporting process and flow-related opportunities as they arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the department in achieving business results for overall safety, quality, and performance, while driving efficiency, flow, and problem-resolution.
  • Assist team members by creating daily assignments and project actions, and moving or reassigning team members throughout the day, to ensure expedites or other business priorities are met.
  • Communicate department results to team members and inform the operations managers of hourly goals and progress.
  • Complete safety observations and model safe behavior and judgement.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with other support teams such as safety, facilities, ICQA, and training to meet the needs of the business.
  • Complete daily work tasks and trackers to promote a strong hand-off between shifts and provide feedback and observations to Operations Managers and other building leaders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center, with well-developed and proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize. They will also have a deep understanding of multiple warehouse departments, processes, and programs, and be able to speak to the flow of a warehouse. Additionally, they will maintain a sense of urgency and follow-through, and have strong proficiency in technical systems including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and WM. Excellent customer service and team player attitudes are also essential.
