Position SummaryThe Transportation Specialist is tasked with operating the shuttle bus to various designated locations as per the scheduled runs. This role serves as a representative of Q Center, requiring interaction with guests in a friendly, informative, and efficient manner. The working hours for this position will vary, predominantly during evenings and weekends.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting pay for this role is $20.00 per hour. Benefits include:

- A High School diploma or equivalent is required; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- A valid CDL with a P endorsement driver's license for Illinois is mandatory.
- No moving violations on driving record within the last three years.
- Ability to access the shuttle bus independently and perform visual and operational inspections before and after each use.
- Stamina to remain seated for extended periods while maintaining focus on safe driving and guest service.
- Hand-eye coordination necessary for operating the shuttle while being aware of surroundings.
- Capability to assist guests boarding and alighting from the shuttle as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shuttle's interior.
- Prioritize the safety of all guests at all times and ensure compliance with ridership guidelines.
- Complete all pre and post-vehicle use inspections and necessary documentation.
- Adhere to the established guest shuttle route and schedule, following all traffic laws and speed limits, even if it results in delayed arrivals.
- Report any mechanical issues, unsafe conditions, or road hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Notify security of any accidents and complete the required documentation.
