About the Role

Astec Industries is seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure and manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in designing and building innovative products for the industries we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement welding codes and specifications
  • Write and review welding procedures and specifications
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with technicians and other team members to achieve cost savings and process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry developments
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in welding engineering or related field
  • Experience with code work (AWS, ASME, API 1104)
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes and technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
