Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to compute project costs.
  • Oversee projects and subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
  • Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare work for estimation.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies through information collection and analysis.
  • Present detailed estimates by compiling numerical and descriptive data.
  • Generate special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information and trends.
  • Conduct conceptual, schematic, and design development budgeting.
  • Review plans for accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage comprehensive take-offs while applying unit pricing.
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction team to successfully bid on projects.
  • Develop leadership skills within the estimating team.
Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating or project management, preferably within a commercial General Contractor.
  • Experience with bids valued at $2 million or more.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field is advantageous.
  • OSHA certification is preferred.
