Construction Manager

At ROCK CITY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in construction management, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the creation of project master schedules and manage onsite activities to ensure timely completion.
- Recognize and report scheduling conflicts and project delays to upper management, suggesting corrective actions.
- Create and maintain daily reports and other necessary logs for progress tracking.
- Review contract documents and identify quality discrepancies, notifying project management and suggesting cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to resolve issues and ensure continued project flow.
- Delegate responsibilities to team members and coordinate site logistics to meet project needs.
- Prepare and present site logistic plans to clients with the Project Manager.
- Identify and address safety issues onsite, directing field forces on corrective actions.
- Perform safety audits on projects and maintain accurate records.
- Manage electronic weekly payroll input, confirming proper cost codes are being utilized.
- Review and advise on contract documents, ensuring proper work is being installed by subcontractors.
- Manage quality assurance and control in the field, ensuring high-quality construction.
- Review scopes created by Project Managers to ensure proper work is being installed.
- Understand individual building trade collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain high client satisfaction levels, encouraging repeat business.
- 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent role.
- Proven track record of quality construction, performance, and safety.
- Excellent knowledge of construction management, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Superior communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
- A valid driver's license and valid insurance.
